On Tuesday, 27th May 2014 the naming ceremony of LPG/ C Waasmunster took place at Euroservices Terminal in Zeebrugge.
The vessel is the first of 12 new build 38000 cbm LPG/NH3 carriers ordered by Exmar nv and was built at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.The vessel arrived in Zeebrugge on Tuesday morning under command of Captain Reinkin after discharging her first cargo at Terneuzen.
The festivities took place at the Sea Station in Zeebrugge later the evening. Mr Nicolas Saverys, CEO of Exmar NV, welcomed all guests at the naming party. The vessel was named by the Godmother Baroness Patricia Vlerick and christened by Reverend Luc Van Meerssche.
